Edmonds Estates Vineyard, a small, family-owned Napa Valley vineyard and wine producer, is seeking an experienced independent wine sales representative with an established book of on-premise accounts in San Francisco. We are specifically looking for a wine professional who already calls on San Francisco restaurants, wine bars, private clubs and select independent wine retailers and would like to add a small-production Napa Valley producer to an existing portfolio.

Our focus is estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon from our family vineyard in northern Napa Valley. Our current releases include two limited-production 2023 Cabernet Sauvignons at distinct price points, including a 92-point Wine Enthusiast-rated Cabernet Sauvignon. Additional vintages and wines are in development, with our 2024 release planned for early 2027.

This is an independent, commission-only sales opportunity, not a full-time position or traditional distributor role. Licensed distribution, invoicing and fulfillment are already in place. We are looking for a sales partner who can open the right doors, present our wines to buyers, develop placements and help establish lasting relationships between Edmonds Estates and those accounts.

The ideal representative:

• Has an established and active book of San Francisco restaurant, wine bar and beverage-program accounts
• Currently represents, or has successfully represented, boutique and family-owned wineries
• Has strong relationships with sommeliers, beverage directors, wine buyers and restaurant owners
• Can arrange buyer tastings and develop new placements
• Is comfortable making direct introductions between Edmonds Estates and the accounts they develop
• Values quality of placement and long-term account development, not simply case volume

The owners of Edmonds Estates are actively involved in supporting accounts. We are available for staff education, buyer and sommelier tastings, owner and winemaker visits, wine dinners and consumer-facing events designed to support placements and generate reorders.

Our initial objective is to establish approximately 10–15 strong San Francisco on-premise accounts, with the opportunity to expand the relationship as additional vintages and wines are released.

Compensation: Independent contractor, commission only. 10–12% of sales, depending on experience, existing account relationships and scope of representation. Distribution and fulfillment are handled separately through our existing licensed distribution partner.
